JENNINGS CREEK WILDFIRE EMERGENCY APPEAL
The Jennings Creek wildfire continues to rage out of control across 3,500 acres in the Highlands region of New Jersey and New York. Our friends, the Turtle Clan of the Ramapough Lenape Nation, are appealing for emergency supplies, including N95 masks, as smoke has engulfed their community in Ringwood, NJ, placing all at risk especially those with compromising health conditions.
In addition, these funds will be used to support the 32 municipal fire companies that are on-site fighting to control the fire, including bottled water and other supplies. This will help them stay hydrated in the extremely physically challenging work.
Please consider making an urgently needed tax-deductible contribution. These supplies will be purchased by the Coalition and distributed by the Turtle Clan.
